What’s New In The MW3 Zombies Update (Season 1)

The season 1 roadmap for Modern Warfare 3 has just been showcased. In that roadmap is a lot of new features and updates to the Zombies game mode. Here is a full list of what’s new in the MW3 Zombies update when Season 1 launches on December 6.

The story act of the Zombies game mode has just received a bonus act. A new anomaly has appeared in the Exclusion Zone. After being sent to investigate, Operation Deadbolt Strike Teams are pulled through to the other side in their first major encounter inside the Dark Aether. This act brings additional challenges, a new Warlord to battle, an exciting new Wonder Weapon, and many more secrets yet to be discovered.
Speaking of Wonder Weapons the newest addition, the V-R11, can turn enemies into allies. Shoot the zombies and transform them into humans, or blast humans to mutate them into friendly zombies. Dark Aether Rifts will also spawn bringing rewards to those who accept the challenges and complete it before their 30 minutes is up. Expect a series of increasingly chaotic objectives.
